The WAPF is a non-profit charity founded to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr Weston Price. His studies of traditional diets from around the world determined the optimum characteristics of nutrient-dense whole foods for human health.

Providing education, research and activism, it is a good source of information particularly about nutrition, animal foods, fermented foods, supplementation and broader health topics.

It particularly advocates for its 11 dietary principles for health that it calls its Wise Traditions diet. Details available include the scientific research to support each principle as well as resources, shopping guides, and recipes.

PubMed is a free resource supporting the search and retrieval of biomedical and life sciences literature with the aim of improving health–both globally and personally. Just about any topic, author or journal can be searched with no prior training needed. A User Guide is available on the site. 

The PubMed database contains more than 36 million citations and abstracts of biomedical research and literature. It does not include full text journal articles; however, links to the full text are often present when available from other sources, such as the publisher’s website.

Especially useful for looking up side effects and true efficacy of medications as well as non-pharmacological interventions for health conditions.
