Ivermectin Now Available Without Prescription

While so much of my energy and attention is focused on getting people Off Pharmaceuticals, I do need to highlight there are a few that are helpful to the body without adverse consequences. Ivermectin is one of them. (Low-Dose-Naltrexone is another).

The subject of a massive hit-job by Big Pharma during the Covid-years, Ivermectin is now widely available without prescription in certain US states; most recently in Texas, my new home state, but also in Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

So why all the fuss during Covid? Basically because of its three prime qualities that Big Pharma couldn’t risk us knowing:

1

It is dirt cheap as Merck’s patent expired decades ago.

2

Its anti-viral effectiveness is far superior to anything else on the market (including against SARS-Cov2 negating the need for any emergency shots).

3

Its anti-viral effectiveness is far superior to anything else on the market (including against SARS-Cov2 negating the need for any emergency shots).

A Little History on Ivermectin

A micro-biologist in Japan named Satoshi Omura grew up on a farm and was convinced that the secret to a healthy life lay in the nature all around us. He discovered a new type of bacteria in the soil a few hours south of Tokyo, that was found to produce a very active compound, dubbed avermectin, which was highly effective against worms and other parasites.

Originally approved for human use in 1987 under the brand name Mectizan, it was celebrated as a breakthrough against the parasitic worm onchocerca volvulus, known as river blindness, which affected over seventeen million people across thirty-five countries in Africa. Over four billion doses were administered in its first thirty years with an impeccable safety record.

It was considered a wonder drug by the turn of the century with its founder and developer sharing the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015 for its discovery. It continues to be studied for new therapeutic applications even beyond its already-identified anti-viral properties¹.

Big Pharma Attacks

The first study identifying Ivermectin’s efficacy against Covid-19 was published in May 2020. There are now over 100 studies involving 1,200 scientists and 220,000 patients across 30 countries. These studies show statistically significant reductions in mortality, hospitalization, ICU admissions, and recovery time when ivermectin is used².

It’s important to note that Emergency Authorization of a pharmaceutical product, including a vaccine, requires there to be no alternative forms of treatment. This was clearly not the case once Ivermectin was identified as both a prophylactic and an effective treatment early on.

Various methods were used by Big Pharma and its paid army of activists in the media and government, including a few published studies of their own claiming its ineffectiveness. As the Independent Medical Alliance (IMA, formerly FLCCC) explains, these studies such as the ACTIV-6 clinical trial and the PRINCIPLE Trial, suffer from flawed designs (likely on purpose).

The most innovative strategy was the “horse de-wormer” campaign instigated by the media but joined by government health authorities which later lost a lawsuit filed against them requiring the FDA to update its website to remove the erroneous wording³.

Therapeutic Uses of Ivermectin

Over the last 20 years there has been continuing research on the therapeutic uses of Ivermectin. This 2017 article in the Journal of Antibiotics refers to it as a “multifaceted wonder-drug”. It’s been an uphill battle to get the research to market though given quality #1 stated at outset – there is not much money to be made on it. Thankfully there continue to be a few researchers around who put public health before profits.

Here’s a summary of Ivermectin’s key uses:

1
Parasites.

While an essential tool in Africa against river blindness and elephantiasis (lymphatic filariasis) it is also highly effective against scabies, head lice and other parasitic infections that plague the western world.

2
Covid-19 and other viruses.

There is still plenty of Covid-19 around (especially in those who took the shots) but also hundreds of other viruses making people sick. The IMA continually updates its recommended protocols for treating Covid with Ivermectin and nutraceuticals. They are a great reference to consult for any viral illness.

3
Long Covid and Long Vax symptoms.

Ivermectin has been shown to be a key therapeutic intervention to deal with the often complex symptom patterns of both Long Covid and post-vaccine syndrome. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties seem to alleviate symptoms and promote overall recovery especially when used in conjunction with the other strategies detailed in the I-RECOVER protocols originally developed by the FLCCC.

4
Prophylaxis against viral respiratory infections.

Early studies (with doctors in hospitals) back in 2020 highlighted Ivermectin’s ability to prevent infection from Covid-19. More recently it has been shown to be effective against flu and RSV. So if you need to stay healthy while travelling for example, it’s a great option when used with other healthy strategies summarized in the I-PREVENT protocol.

5
Cancer treatment.

Most exciting is the research indicating Ivermectin may inhibit the growth of various cancer cells by disrupting multiple pathways essential to cancer cell survival. There are a growing number of success stories of unlikely cancer survival using Ivermectin as part of a comprehensive cancer treatment. IMA provides many helpful resources on its Cancer Resource Hub.

Over-the-counter Best Practices

So while it is excellent news that more states are now making Ivermectin easier to obtain, I do want to remind you that it is still a drug with potent actions in the body. As with all over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, you should do your research and follow the dosage guidelines on the box. For best results, study the information in the IMA protocols mentioned above.

If you have any underlying conditions or take other medications you should consult with a medical professional first. But make sure you take them the research and resources provided by the Independent Medical Alliance (IMA). Most doctors still believe the propaganda efficiently delivered by Big Pharma via their very dependent health systems and organizations relying on pharmaceutical funding to meet their budgets.

Good health and recovery from illness is never down to a pill but if your healthy diet, supplements and chicken soup is not getting the job done, Ivermectin is a great tool to keep in your medicine cabinet.
